I was there as well. My first Crowes show did not disappoint. A nice way to spend the off day between two PJ shows.

Cool venue too, I had never been there.

Night and day from the Mansfield experience, isn't it? Same deal for me, the Crowes was my 'between' show ... what a blast.

elwayvedder, you guys won't be dissapointed. Slow, jammy, deep and groovy ... nice long set, beautiful encore. Pure joy :)

I saw them back in 2006 at Hampton Beach and it was incredible. It was a 2 set 180min+ show and they were just awesome that night. It was at the end of May and within a week, I saw Pearl Jam, The Black Crowes, and Radiohead all do fantastic shows.

How was Luther Dickinson on guitar? He's growing as one of my favorite young guitarists now. I saw on CrowesBase that they closed the show with The Night They Drove Ole Dixie Down? I'm not a huge Band fan but the Crowes do the best covers of their stuff.

Luther was fantastic ... he's really feeling it. I worked my way up to about 10 feet in front of him for the night, and I'm a guitar player myself, so I'm pretty comfortable saying he was 'on.'

Lots of smiles between the band when he was working his stuff through.

Haha. Actually the security there reminded me of the security/police in the lots at Mansfield. Security was going through the crowd looking for any opportunity to kick people out. They were picking on a group of teenagers in front of me for seemingly no reason.

Gonna see them in November...Hoping to hear a decent ammount of Amorica...
    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......

Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V
