All very true. I guess I just find it funny that Chad is completely oblivious to the fact that his mule face wouldn't be seeing any action if it wasn't for his fame - I mean, good for him, but just because he's getting some doesn't mean people want to hear about it, ewwww!
Every time I think perhaps my disliking Nickelback is just because their music doesn't appeal to me, Kroegar does something to remind me that he's a grade a shitehawk!
It is very reassuring that this is a negative thread. I thought for a second that pearl jam fans had gone insane! Every song sounds the same and I have no idea how they sell out such big venues. I guess most people just have horrible taste.

Back in the day, when they released "The State", I liked these guys and often defended them... but everything after that was beyond obnoxious...
In fact, the ultimate shityness of their following records has ruined what fond feelings I used to have for The State - not because it was a great album, but it was decent straight-forward rock... but now it's all just crap...
I don't like their singles, but the other songs on their albums are pretty good. Cool guitar riffs and some songs have some pretty cool solos. And that "Something In Your Mouth" song is pretty awesome in my opinion. I have a pretty wide taste in music.
*Waits for people to flame me for having an opinion*

Actually I'm with NakedClown. I remember listening to The State in a friend's car back in 2000, and it wasn't that bad. Likewise, I can't listen to it now because of the shallow, "hit" manufactured shit they've created since then.
Ok, I just finished listening to that "Something in Your Mouth" song.
It's worse than Rock Star.
Wow.
The first and last time I liked Nickelback was in 2001 when that song How you remind me came out. It got played out too fast and the rest of their songs I heard were laughable. After hearing their newest garbage, I know I didn't miss anything in the last 8 years from them. Glad I didn't waste my time.
I called in sick today at the 7-11 so i could be one of the first to get the new cd. i am so pumped! i listened to rockstar over and over on the way to best buy. i love that fucking song!!!! chad kruger sure does get a lot of action. anyway when i got to best buy there were already some other peeple waiting for the store to open. really cool peeple like me. we talked about how great the band is and what an awesome dude chad is. there were a couple of hot chiccks waiting too but they were kinda stuck up and wouldn't talk to me. i was afraid i might not get a cd b/c there was a lot of peeple waiting but i did get one. its amazing. i listened to it all the way home at and it just as good as all the others. my mom doesnt get home from walmart until 4 so me and some frends are going to listen to this cd all day long. i hope everyone else was able to get one!

Sorry, Sen - A LOT. I know it hurts, but there's A LOT wrong with Kid Rock.
I had the unfortunate privilege of running to into this douche lead singer Chad outside the Bellagio in Vegas. I was rather intoxicated and let him know how I felt about his shitty band. It was awesome. I still can't believe Matt did a song with him.
Did anyone see the commerical from Citibank about using your credit card and winning some sort of concert experience with Nickleback? Um...no thanks.
Nope
It's actually Citibank's hard nose knee jerk reaction to the economic crisis.
This contest is actually a punishment meant to scare people into making their credit card payments on time.
The sadistic bastards at Citibank realized that delinquent payments were getting way out of hand; so they figured the only way to scare the living shit out of their dead beat, debt riddled customers was to threaten to send them off to a "Concert Experience w/ Nickleback"?
And
Ye Gods!!
That is some pretty fucking scary shit.

No no, it sounds like Creed.
(there really is no joke there. it's just THAT FUCKING BAD)
I don't know if I feel worse for Creed for being compared to Nickelback, or vice versa.
Maybe they should just cage match and get it over with.
Then we can set the winner on fire or something...a victorious blaze of bad 'rock'.
