I just saw that Chris Cornell is actually touring with Timbaland, and is playing Seattle's Showbox Sodo November 2nd. Isn't it enough that he made the record, why does he have to bring that crap back to Seattle or anywhere for that matter. I'm very dissapointed, we should all boycott this nonsense, tough love ya know. I think is his case he has hit rock bottom and it would be better to burn out than fade away.

You won't be getting that. This tour is Scream front to back and that is all.

I guess you all can't handle him the way he are.

Swap out the word "can't" with "refuse to" and I'll agree.

Not defending CC, but do you guys remember when Neil Young made that 80 electronic type album?

  • I personally think his new songs are pretty good.
I also believe Scream is going to kick ass.
I ALSO happen to enjoy Carry On.

It is the last refuge of a man without an arguement; call everyone else a racist. Seriously, what the hell?

I guess not liking the way Timbaland has bastardized Cornell's music makes people racist???

Geffen sued Neil Young for making "albums that weren't representative of Neil Young" in the Eighties....

Does this mean we can all sue Cornell?

You know, I totally forgot about that law suit. It was a pretty big deal at the time and I'm pretty sure Geffen didn't win....although they should have because Trans was unbelievably awful! But we forgave Neil (I'm a HUGE Neil fan from way back) and he moved on to do some of the best work of his career. We can only hope the same holds true for CC. If that "hidden" track that just surfaced is any indication, we might even have a little bit of hope for the new album to have SOMETHING on it that's listenable!
Gonna rise up....burning black holes in dark memories. Gonna rise up....turning mistakes into gold.
