I'm surprised cops in Manlius even know how to test for coke. It's not exactly a drug infested high crime area.

I thought this band started and ended with that one song 1 week or whatever years ago, you mean they still actually make music?(loose term used for lack of a better one to be applied to a bunch of men making noise with instruments)
Can not be arsed with life no more.

    you are so wrong.

drug addiction is a treatable disease. people are going to source out drugs if they really want them. full out legalization, with the administration of certain harder drugs under doctor's care, is the way.

furthur, drug addicts are not criminals. what purpose does it serve to put tommy chong and steve page in jail? that's just being c-r-a-z-y

I don't know why people don't give BNL their due. Most people write them off due to more whimsical tunes like One Week (which is cleverly written, to say the least) or If I Had a Million Dollars, but fail to recognize songs such as Call and Answer and What A Good Boy. Their loss, I guess. I'm not a huge BNL fan, but they have my respect. Thing is, other "serious" bands have whimsical tunes, too, and the likes of say, Green Day, who have both fun and poignant songs in their repertoire, aren't disrespected to nearly the same degree.

I was absolutely shocked to hear about this. I really hope he's able to get clean and healthy.

    I Agree! :D

    Rock Specticle
    Stunt
    and Maroon
    were excellent albums.
You hit the nail on the head when you said they have a little bit of everything humor, seriousness. True their poppier songs are the radio tunes but they have some serious and dark songs like "Alcohol", and "Tonight is the night, I fell asleep at the wheel"
I agree they deserve their due.

They actually started with a demo back in 1990 or 1991, and then had Gordon, which was huge here in Canada. I too don't understand why they don't get respect - you don't have to like their type of music, but they are incredibly talented musicians. I've loved them since Gordon, and will continue to, although I did like to think that they were clean family men....
