bass - who cares, ok Cliff 'em all
rhythm- papa het OF COURSE !!!!!!
lead git - hard one, maybe SRV, or maybe youg Joe Bonamassa, or maybe Jimi could wake up for a set, yeah, Jimi it is
vocals - hard again, I'm thinking Cornell whines a bit too much to gel with Hetfield, Planty wails about right , but again, with James riffing, I'm looking for a deeper voice, Nick Cave it is
Hey Nice to see a Joe Bonamassa mention in here. That dudes a Bad ass on Guitar. I've seen him live 6 times and he is cool to his fans... always signs stuff for people after the show.
I wish he was more known by people though.

He's one of the greatest drummer's in the world. Danny Carey's rhythms fit like a glove, and are SO unobtrusive in the songs. most of the time you don't even realise the crazy shit he's doing because it isnt showing off._FiveAgainstOne_ wrote:no he's not. i've heard him and wasn't too impressed. of course, before I heard him actually play, all I heard about him was "he's so fuckin amazin!!1111 best drummer!!!"
I don't think so.
you are of course entitled to your opinion. I on the other hand disagree entirely with you. the only overrated member of Tool is Adam Jones. also, Justin Chancellor - Most underrated bass player around. FACT. listen to 10,000 days (wing pt 2)"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
regarding justin chancellor, i counter with The Pot
also, you need to see him play .... he is playing a lot more parts than one would thinkI don't want to be hostile. I don't want to be dismal. But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existance either.0 -

Actually, Robert Deleo of STP/Army of Anyone is the most underrated bass player around. He's fuckin' awesome and gets ZERO credit.you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.0 -

such a great bassist. 46 & 2 is also amazing. I just cant get over his work on wings pt 2 though. 10,000 days is truly his and Maynard's album.
