Hey Nice to see a Joe Bonamassa mention in here. That dudes a Bad ass on Guitar. I've seen him live 6 times and he is cool to his fans... always signs stuff for people after the show. I wish he was more known by people though. :(
no he's not. i've heard him and wasn't too impressed. of course, before I heard him actually play, all I heard about him was "he's so fuckin amazin!!1111 best drummer!!!"
I don't think so.
He's one of the greatest drummer's in the world. Danny Carey's rhythms fit like a glove, and are SO unobtrusive in the songs. most of the time you don't even realise the crazy shit he's doing because it isnt showing off.
you are of course entitled to your opinion. I on the other hand disagree entirely with you. the only overrated member of Tool is Adam Jones. also, Justin Chancellor - Most underrated bass player around. FACT. listen to 10,000 days (wing pt 2)
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
regarding justin chancellor, i counter with The Pot
also, you need to see him play .... he is playing a lot more parts than one would think
fuck! I meant UNDERRATED!!! edited I included him in my best band line-up and everything! I meant that 10,000 days is amazing.
