Well, the Paris boot completed downloading and then announced some shit about Internet Explorer not recognising some shit, now I'm still waiting for the Manchester which is taking forever and I'll probably have to abort due to forthcoming electricity bills. So I'm retracting my thanks for the meantime.
EDIT>Just sped up miraculously and Manchester finito. Thanks back on!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

cept the Paris one didnt work, was it just me?
The Paris link has an extra space in it. It should be: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CG0157SO
I was at the Feb 14 NYC show. Totally agree with the poster who said that Dulli steals the show. I wasn't familiar with Greg's work, and I walked out of the show blown away by him. The man has so much charisma.0 -
thanks for that,
ur right about the charisma,. he bollocked people for taking film of the show, but everyone was in love with him a few songs later. front street is worth the ticket price alone.
its rumoured they will be back in late summer.0 -

Can't wait! I heard that they would be back in the States in June or Aug. I missed the entire March tour, as I was out of the country.0 -
anyone know why the show tonight was canceled?0

Dulli took ill, as far as I know. I don't think it was anything too serious, cos the band did a three song encore without him. Hope he feels better soon - it'd be a real pity if this tour got derailed for any reason.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -
apparently, Dulli did not make the encore at last nights show, he was taken ill. I dont think its anything more than that.0

Saw them last Sunday nite in the Limelight in Belfast. The Stations was such a great opener. Met Jeff Klein, Scott Ford and Dave Rosser after the gig. Dulli scrambled for the tour bus and Lanegan hotailed it back to the hotel. Would have loved to have met Dulli but I suppose you cant win em all.no additives, preservatives, or artificial colouring0

Met them all after the Austin show. It was pretty cool. Dulli was super friendly. Mark was nice and polite but a lot less talkative than Greg. All the guys in the band were super cool too.0 -

im furious with myself fir missing the dublin show....knew about it, and there were tickets left, and for some reason didnt bother going!
this thread is killing me!0 -
monday night i copenhagen was a very intense show - only 500 in the audience. The twins seemed to be in an rock mood, the vibe was great. The setlist was more or less as the previous shows from europe, but the best was Greg Dulli who was taking the show home. Especially number 9 and front street stood out. Loved it - great showRun away my son. See it all. Oh see the world.0

I heard this show was awsome and the crowd was great. That's good to hear. I know there have been some complaints about the crowds at their previous shows. Glad you had a good time. Can't wait till they come back to the states. I really want to see them again.0 -
Slightly off-topic... I would kill for a new Gutter Twins record, full of blues covers. Their take on St. James' Infirmary was spectacular, and their covers of Where Did You Sleep Last Night and Hard Time Killing Floor (as the Twilight Singers, natch) were pretty great too. I figure they could knock this out with the touring band (most importantly, Dave Rosser
) in a week or so. Make it happen, guys!:D

I agree!!!! That would be amazing. St. James Infirmary sounded great. I think I have decided Mark needs to stay away from QOTSA and sing with Greg. They really sound great together!0
