Their early music is really good, they might've had more hit singles than any other 90's band. Their CDs were getting weaker towards the end though.
My favourites off the albums are:
Core: Sex Type Thing, Creep, and Crackerman
Purple: Vasoline, Interstate Love Song, Big Empty
Tiny Music: Tumble in the Rough, And So I Know, Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart, and Art School Girl.
#4: Down, Pruno, Atlanta
Can't say any of my favourite songs are off of Shangri-La-Dee-Da.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut
Kitchenware and candybars
plush (Love the accoustic version, but both rock)
big empty
Dancing days (It's a Led Zeppelin cover, but it was done nicely).
die on a hilltop.. eyeing the crows,
waiting for your lids to close..
but you want to watch as they peck your flesh..
Ironic that they go for the eyes first
I was never really a fan of these guys, but Purple is still a great record.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."
Are you high? Tiny Music is like.... They did it when they were high.....
yes. i have and really like core through 4. honestly love the hell out of tiny music way more than the others. purple is second. used to be my favorite band around 97.

Dusseldorf 21/06/07, Manchester 17/08/09, London 18/08/09, LA 06/10/09, LA 07/10/09.
I liked their later stuff a lot more...which I know is different than most people but to me Core is such a grunge-wannabe album...Purple was when it really started getting good but I do love No4 and SLDD the most I think.
I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.
the entire tiny music album, their best by far IMO
without a doubt. that is my favorite STP album and one of my favorites of all-time. such a psychedelic-garage-meets-led zeppelin-2 vibe. amazing record.

I feel the same on this. As for my favorite songs I'd have to rank
Kitchenware and Candybars up there as well as Hollywood Bitch as being my favorites. I guess I like Down alot as well. It's hard to pick.
