    Tori Amos - Boys for Pele
    Son Volt - Trace
    PJ Harvey - Is This Desire?

    I'll admit that Boys for Pele is the only one I owned during the decade, and if I'd answered this question in 1999 I would surely have been guilty of naming 3 "grunge" albums.
