    I know they have a lot of hype around them and always have.

    I went and saw them live about 4 years ago and they did not do much for me. I never really gave them another chance after that.

    Admittingly i did not have any of their cd's then i just went to see if i liked the music in a live setting and it did not really wow me. Maybe they are better on album then live.

    Saw them live at Coachella a few years ago ... at the time, I had only heard Open Season ... so, I figured I'd check them out before heading over to see NIN.

    Well, I didn't leave (even missing 20 minutes of NIN) ... they rocked! Then went out and got "The Decline of British Sea Power" and found where all the rock came from ... what a great album.

    Big fan of the band Brakes too.

    Now called Sea Power.

    One of the most underrated rock bands of the last 20 years, still doing their thing.
