Pink Floyd - Animals
Tool - Aenima
Mad Season - Above
Edited for illiteracy...
Darkness on the Edge of Town - Bruce Springsteen
Sgt. Pepper - The Beatles
third is a tie between Down on the Upside (Soundgarden) and Turn on the Bright Lights (Interpol)
Superunknown - Soundgarden
Lateralus - Tool
3 albums that are kicking my ass at the moment anyway!
Can we narrow it down by choosing an artist, then THEIR 3 best albums? that would be easier...
6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2
In utero
Seperation Sunday
all three are the musical peaks of thier respective eras and are more than just a record the represent something else that was happening to the artist and for me at least paints a picture of the world at the time of thier release

I know, all very popular albums....but these three have inspired me deeply and continue to to this day. I can't explain why. These aren't even my favorite albums by their respective artists.....well maybe the Blue Album.

Radiohead - Kid A
Faith No More - The Real Thing
I'm not sure where I can put In Rainbows yet. It's great, just too early to predict where it'll stand.
Anyways, Who's Next was the world's first perfect album ever; it took 29 years 'til Kid A came out and it is also an album of perfection.
The Real Thing was closer, 9.5 because of the War Pigs cover. No covers for studio releases
