Esp. radiohead.
same thing with jocks who ventured back into pearl jam with this new buzz and found out they didn't make 8 "Ten"s
p.s. the last 5 radiohead albums contain some of the best music ever made.

"Make our day"
here's some rationale-Sonic Youth is little more than organized noise and is WAYYY overrated as underground heroes.
Radiohead I like, but I do not consider the second coming of Christ as much of its massively pretentious fanbase does.
Some die just to live.
Smashing Pumpkins "Earphoria" 9
Smashing Pumpkins "Pisces Iscariot" 9
-Eddie Vedder
6/24/06 Cincinatti, Ohio
6/14/08 Manchester, Tennessee
Pearl Jam: Dissident (single) 8/10
Frank Black: Frank Black 8/10 & The Cult Of Ray 7/10
Mike Watt: Ball-Hog Or Tugboat? 6/10
Ramones: Brain Drain 8/10
Sleater-Kinney: The Woods 5/10
But that's fair enough.. i think that in itself makes them underground heroes doesn't it?
Well bands effect different people in different ways. Some people are indifferent to them but they reach places that even Pearl jam or Smashing Pumpkins haven't touched much for me.

i think he's awesome live (ahhh im still so pissed i had to miss him in early '05 because of a paper due the next morning) and some songs of his are awesome, but this album is corny and repetitive. i feel like he rushed this CD in order to get one out when his name was first getting big.

Tool-10000-4

This gets a low mark because i just can't get into the style. Musicianship is good the whole concept album idea is cool as hell I just don't like the vocals. Not my cup of tea.
The Sword- Age of Winters-6.5
I enjoy this album. i can't rate it higher because of their utter lack of orginality. Very sabbath like. the do sabbath proud though. Iron Swan kicks a lot of ass.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor-Lift your Skinny Fist...-6.0 (not final)
I need to listen to this more. It seems cool, but It did not grab me. The 6.0 may rise.

gotta come to sonic youth's defense. I did not "get" them for a while, but a couple years ago i really fell in love with them.
their new stuff from sonic nurse and rather ripped are very structured by normal standards (i think their older stuff is structured it is just not your standard rock structure). Rather Ripped has some very poppy songs.
I guess they are not for you but they are very talented. Thurston is quite good on guitar and they are very orginal in their sound.

Pearl Jam - Live at Easy Street - 6
The cd is great..But it`s just an EP so too few songs to get a great review.
Ricochets - Isolation - 8.
Ricochets is a Norwegian band..everyone should try to find some songs by them on Bearshare og torrents or whatever..Great band!

Pearl Jam - Avocado - 8.5 (still waiting for this one, it gets better everytime like RA did except Marker in the Sand - WTF horrible chorus, didn't even sound right live)
Mariah Carey - emancipation of mimi , platinum version - 10 absolutely brilliant and powerful modern r&b IMO
