Has anyone heard any details about this? I heard from a friend that tickets are on sale tomorrow, but there's no details on the tool army website. It's listed on last.fm, and apparently on the Academy website (although that won't load for me).
If you all stop hitting refresh for just two minutes, I can buy my tickets...

Yes it's true just checked on the brixton website and it's there for the tue 21st aug.

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Edit: beaten to it.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.

Yeah I reckon Tool will be added to the sunday at Reading. When the bill first came out for reading there was a gap between Pumpkins and NIN - if all 3 of those bands are playing one after the other, I won't be leaving front row all night!

but it's nicely slopped so there's no bad view :)

Thanks for that. Yeah was just reading about that, MTV have filemd some gigs there haven't they? I remember seeing footage of some random MTV or KERRANG! type thing and it was sloped, which is a great idea, can't wait for this. I'm wondering how they'll addapt the stage show for this size of gig, and also, anyone see the special guests being special or just some random bands to open?

Well, less than 2 weeks away. Who else is going to this gig? If there's enough of us maybe we should arrange a little drink before/afterwards?

And what do you guys think (i've been asking various friends and i'm getting different answers) As I haven't heard any Tool yet, should I go to the gig with a clean slate and make up my mind then, or should I download some stuff and listen to it to prepare myself????

Don't listen to any, and just go. That way you won't notice how off-key Maynard is nowadays :P

They're one of my favorite bands, and I'll always remember their Lateralus shows, but this tour...YUCK.
  • you know, i am a tool fan but i saw them twice last year and really can't part with nearly forty quid to see them again this year.

why do they charge so much?
