There is no other band that has hit me like Kings, besides Pearl Jam of course. What are some other bands that have hit you like that? Ones that you liked from the first listen.

gah- so I was right in the front of the stage next to the railing at KOL- and I admit I was distracted, not only by all the middle schoolers who were in attendance but by staring at Ed, and letting myself get carried away and thinking that every move he made, meant that he was going to join them on stage.
I apologize guys- I did show my appreciation-but I can't sing along cause I don't know the words
I apologize Ed- of course you should get to see a show without having to perform yourself
but I am going back tonight- I forget who I am going to see- not Fergie
oh and Jesus christ- all you middle and high schoolers who think that smoking cigarettes/pot makes you look cool/older?
You just look stupid.
It actually even accentuates how young you are.
Really.
You must be the change you want to see in the world

KOL rocked the Warfield in San Fransicko last night. Highlights, Spiral Staircaase, Fans, On Call & Trani...$35 for the cherries shirt? $75 for poster? Ugh. No merch.
And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all
Brad is really good. I hate that they are considered a side project.

what show are you catching ?? if you don't mind me asking ....
Not at all... I'm seeing them at Radio City Music Hall on the 19th, I believe. With Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (my 3rd time seeing BRMC in two years )
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

I saw KOL open for U2 and they were okay. After the fuss on this very board about the new cd I grabbed it..and WOW. I grabbed everything old from them too. Plan to see them Sept 29th in Providence.
Last night at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles...nice.
Caleb's even looking like a grown-up with his new haircut and the best part of seeing these guys evolve from U2's opening act to headliners is seeing them all look like, act like and feel like they actually own the stage that they're standing on. And seeing Caleb dance more. The more comfortable he seems to get, the more he seems to shake those tiny hips of his.
And Black Rebel Morortcycle Club make for an excellent opening act. Rock and roll with a slide trombone....brilliant.
