    I can dig some pretentious art rock............there are those on this board who complain of excessive "noodling" in this genre.........but I love it anyway.

    I question a lot of the comments on this thread....some of the bands listed are great, even if not to your liking, but LIVE? wow, they are a solid band

    he did that with one song, which did make it one of the most brilliant songs ever. His music has meaning...his last album rocked. If you think there is no meaning behind girl or e-pro, then you really don't think about music at all.

    sorry man I cant stand them...they make my skin crawl....I admit that I have only heard their singles on the radio but IMO they are really really TERRIBLE....lightning crashes is soooo bad I have to shut it off immediately....in fact the amount of Live fans on this board has always shcoked me - I dont know a single person who likes them even slightly, in fact everyone I know detests them....they were the butt of a great many jokes back when they were popular

    Beck (like the aforementioned Radiohead ;) ) is one of the best artists around. Period. He's CONSISTANTLY brilliant and changing.

    8. Slipknot(first album kicked total ass and 2nd was ok and 3rd sucked)
