absolutely brilliant song. I love the lyrics and I love cornell's vocals."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0

My vote goes to The Day I Tried to Live0

I like Limo Wreck better, but you are correct Like Suicide is pretty damn good.one foot in the door
the other foot in the gutter
sweet smell that they adore
I think I'd rather smother

This is proabably my favorite Soundgarden song but, has anyone else noticed it sounds a lot like Neil Young's Fuckin Up???? I noticed it for the first time the other day in the opening, before Chris comes in.0

Tough call. Like some have already said 'Limo Wreck' is pretty damn good.
Got a bit of a thing for 'Pretty Noose', think it's a great song.
I listen to SG quite often, so my fave seems to change. 'Holy Water' is top right now.Cymru Am Byth

yes, a brilliant song.
its amazing to think how such a seemingly small event (a bird flying into his door, and suffering a broken neck, and then chris having to put it out of its misery) could inspire such a great a beautiful song. i love the way the lyrics compare love and suicide as having mutual similarities, it provokes great thought.0 -

Cool, I'm glad I'm not alone on this. I love the drums in that song, so intense. And the lyrics are amazing, too.0 -
It's definitely one of the best Soundgarden songs!0
