In Holland you can pick three songs for your funeral. Now this thread may be just a tad morbid, but hey it is good to be prepared. You don't what some genius to start playing Cliff Richards for instance.
Which three would you pick?
last song: Strawberry fields forever ~ John Winston Lennon
middle song: Much against everyone's advice ~ Soulwax
First song: Blow up the outside world ~ Soundgarden

« One man's glory is another man's hell.
You’re on the outside, never bound by such a spell.
Together in the darkness, alone in the light.
I took it upon me to be yours, Timmy,
I’ll lead your angels and demons at play tonight......»

2nd: Funky Cold Madina(sp) - Tone Loc
last: Its Oh So Quiet - Bjork :Djk jk jk
the real three would be more like:
1st: Seasons -Chris Cornell
2nd: Off He Goes - Pearl Jam
3rd: Birth Ritual - Soungarden
Imagine the sound of Birth Ritual with a good sound system in a decent sized church whoa goose bumps.:)
smile - pearl jam
blur - tender
the golden path - the chemical brothers
You have been banned for the following reason:
inappropriate post.
'Too many people on this earth. We need a new plague.' - Dwight Schrute
This one does seem to fit the occasion;
Its Oh So Quiet - Bjork
You’re on the outside, never bound by such a spell.

That Feel - Tom Waits
Not Dark Yet - Bob Dylan (maybe Tryin' to get to Heaven instead...)
1. Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (although I know he didn't write it)
2. Pearl Jam - Wishlist
3. Temple of the Dog - Say Hello to Heaven
If I were less than completely serious, which is more likely:
1. Pearl Jam - Alive (it might take 'em awhile to get it)
2. N.W.A. - Fuck tha Police
3. Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel the Noize
2) Off He Goes - Pearl Jam
1) Rocket - Smashing Pumpkins
What a depressing topic but those three would be best for me.
Bob Dylan - Its All Over Now, Baby Blue
Millencolin - Greener Grass
Maybe replace Smog with
Warren Zevon - Life'll Kill Ya
Rock 'n' Roll Damnation - AC/DC
Full Disclosure - Fugazi
or Pearl Jam - Man of the Hour
depending on the mood I'm in at my deathbed
2. Slide Away - Oasis
3. Evil - Mercyful Fate (just for a laugh..hope noone really will feel that way during my actual funeral)
Walk on with hope in your heart
YNWA
2nd song: Songbird - Oasis (my happy song)
3rd song: Given To Fly - Pearl Jam (my spiritual song)
2. Burn One Down - Ben Harper
3. See you Later - Heatmiser/Elliott Smith
Mascagni - Cavalleria Rusticana: Intermezzo
PJ - Man Of The Hour
- the great Sir Leo Harrison
U2- wake up dead man
Pearl Jam - release
Deftones - Back to school
The third one is difficult..
definitely Pearl jam, maybe Light Years or Thumbing my way..
Or to shock people, Limp Bizkit's Faith, so it ends with a bang!
And I know she's reached my heart,... in thin air
Heaven Beside You - AIC
Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin
All Apologies (Unplugged version) - Nirvana
Pardon Me or I Miss You (both acoustic)- Incubus
That should do it!
green day - good riddance (time of your life)
pearl jam - man of the hour
happy phantom tori amos.
beloved one ben harper
Got to spend it all,.....
