Any particular song off of that album....or are you referring to the whole album?
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

I cant believe it took this long for Stevie W and Superstition to get a mention this and Master Blaster are the kings of basslines(not surprised it was you Mrs Dream who was first to mention him;))

Got to give mention to Bob Marley + the Wailers - Jammin' in particular.
Same goes for David Bowie - Cracked Actor and Panic in Detroit for special mention.
English Beat - Mirror in the Bathroom
Max Romeo - War Inna Babylon
Toots and the Maytals - Funky Kingston
    No One Knows by QOTSA

    oooo too many to mention.:)

Agreed - Superstition...not sure how that one got by the goalie. And good call on bob marley...

And let me add the band Cake has some good basslines...not a fan of theirs, just a casual radio listener, but good stuff.
I love to turn you on
