My best friend lives in Texas.....I will stay with her....and she and I will attend the Pearl Jam Texas show....(IF and WHEN)...I would also travel three hours to Atlanta to see PJ.....That would be great, too!!!! I think all of these rumors for further PJ Southern dates is GREAT!!! However....Time will tell. I'm just greatful for what they have given us....(thus far)!!!The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated - Gandhi

I think an Atlanta show would be a great show for most of the people on here to meet up at. And they always play their asses off in Atlanta.www.RLMcDaniel.com

I think Rhino was on to something the other day- the on;y reason why ATL didn't get a show is because it's so close to Bonnaroo. Atlanta will get a show in '08Rose1963 wrote:Any updates on this LukinFan? I hope WPB and Tamp due really well in PJ sales!!!
no, I'm sorry, it just have a good feeling about this. But you're right, with the south almost selling out so fast, we deserve more shows! I've got the Green Diseasetybird wrote:Would be great, but I'm not holding my breath. :(

Yeah, 2003 kind of hurt B-Ham's chances, but to tell you the truth- the 98 show that I went to there was one of my favorites. I really hope that they return. Maybe a small intimate venue? That would be sweet. I have family in Dothan, so I'd love to take my brother-in-law to the show- which should be coming home this summer from Afghanistan.callen wrote:hope this happens, just not feeling it......

Just like George Michael says, "You've gotta have faith"- wait, did I just really quote GM? I truly think that there are too many ACL rumors out there that include PJ for them not to be announced.www.RLMcDaniel.com

The South...."Abides"....holding out for Texas. Fingers crossed!!!!
I may look like an 'ass" on other "theads"....(sometimes these "posters" are just "begging for a smart-assed response....at times),,,,but I'm going to try my best to just continue to promote the "South!" I take a "time out," from time to time....but never forget those whom in the South continue to wait.
