Well I think it's great for the folks who want to see the band they are playing 3 dates in the south. HOWEVER with all the fuss that was put up, you'd think you guys would deliver when it came time for tix to go on sale.
I find it unbelievable that I was just able to log in at 11:30pm EST and if I wanted I could get Ten Club seats for ALL THREE shows on sale down there.
I wish the demand wasn't as high up here for selfish reasons (better chance to obtain tix, better seating, etc) but wow. Perhaps the "Play the South" thread was just a few diehards as opposed to this massive movement.
Anyway, enjoy the shows for those few of you going!4.28.03 --- 7.9.03 --- 7.12.03 --- 10.1.04 --- 9.28.05 --- 10.3.05 --- 5.27.06 --- 5.28.06 --- 6.3.06 --- 6.19.08 --- 6.20.08 --- 6.24.08 --- 6.25.08

Well, also keep in mind the South is a BIG place. It is not as easy for a lot of people to travel around to different dates and states as it is up north.MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: 2008-06-11

what about that "australian tour rumors no bullshit" thread that lasted for a year after the band played a nice batch of shows in oz? did you go in there and tell them to stop posting and to delete thier thread, too? at least give us a little time to celebrate and work out our get-togethers. and there's always the option of not clicking on the thread....
and re: sales. do you people not remember how long some of the 06 fc tickets were up? sure, i expect the msg shows to sell faster, but even the gorge 06 didn't sell out the first day. and, as has been pointed out, the south is a big place geographically. i'm smack dab in the middle of the sc and vabch shows, but it will mean something like 15 or 16 hours in the car over the course of two days. not complaining, just stating the logistical reality.

Does anyone have an educated guess or informed opinion about how long it will take to sell all the fanclub seats in Florida?
If they stay up another week or two, it may encourage others to take the plunge and join the tour kick-off party.

Good point..Sunday night at the Gorge was not a sellout. What also makes the argument illogical is many people at the Gorge shows were not from out west. Including me. So if southerners and northeasterners are buying tickets to shows out west, why aren't others buying tickets to come south?
You can't brag about other shows selling out or having larger crowds when it's b/c of us that fly in from all over..then turn around and criticize the southern shows for not selling out. Get on a fucking plane and go to Florida then.0 -

They might be doing what we did in 2005... waiting to hear about the next "leg" to see if they come closer to home. IF there is even going to be a next leg to the tour.
How many "legs" did we wait thru - only to find out they weren't coming?"I don't want to hear any splatty tongues!"

Well, if you count all of 05/06/07 we waited through six legs.
But who's really counting?
