I will always keep posting on this thread until there are some dates in Texas or Louisiana. And the way things are looking, I think I will be posting on here for a really long time.Sorry is the fool who trades his soul for a corvette, thinks he'll get the girl he'll only get the mechanic...

You and your wife not going to Tampa? I (we) are so disappointed! Seriously! Anything I can do to help y'all with that? I just hope you're not avoiding me.....and Rhinomagic! Try your best!!!!! Pretty please....with Sugar on Top! Come to Tampa!!!!! You seem like a great person to know! We would just love to meet you and your wife!!!!
Jules Winfield: Oh. You were finished? Well allow me to retort.
Here's what will probably happen on my end: The wife and I have been scheming all winter to find a perfect window to visit NYC. I'm a Mets fan and she's a Red Sox fan. The Mets' stadium closes this year and I've never been, so I feel obligated after following the team for 23 seasons. They happen to be at home the week that PJ plays MSG. We'll try to visit a friend in Boston and catch a Red Sox game, too. So, bottom line, is that we're shooting for MSG with our concert dollars.
But that makes me feel like a bit of traitor to the southern legion of fans. So, I'm currently thinking that I'll pass on the 10C pre-sale for FL and freelance those two shows. What that means is that I'll search and search for a spare ticket those two nights, seek someone I can share rides with on Wednesday and Thursday, and hang some of my hopes on the hospitality and congeniality of the Pearl Jam community.
I can't take my leisure and spend several days on the road for those FL shows if we're going to do NYC really big. But I can bust my hump for the weeks leading up to it and earn enough extra cash to be able to join the parties in WPB & Tampa in the nick of time.
So, I'm not avoiding you RoseI'm just hoping to maximize my PJ experience this summer. NYC comes first because it includes my wife. But if possible, I will piece together a FL run so that I get to share in our moments of triumph when PJ returns in all their glory.
Best of luck to you ticket purchasers today. Somebody let me know if they obtain an extra to either FL show!

I think they are not allowed to play Atlanta during the Bonnaroo time window because of a blackout imposed by their agreement to play the festival. Superfly probably won't let any of their headliners play Atlanta/Nashville/Birmingham so as not to discourage festival attendance.
To me, it makes sense why they scheduled Florida, then Bonnaroo, then Columbia (unusual choice, but JUST far enough away to be acceptable to Superfly Productions).

Heading to MSG as well. Will also attend DC. Course if I can't get MSG's and Florida shows are still available, plans may change.
I do hope both Florida shows sell out...and appreciate all the support of my fellow southern Floridian's calling out for full southern tour.10-18-2000 Houston, 04-06-2003 Houston, 6-25-2003 Toronto, 10-8-2004 Kissimmee, 9-4-2005 Calgary, 12-3-05 Sao Paulo, 7-2-2006 Denver, 7-22-06 Gorge, 7-23-2006 Gorge, 9-13-2006 Bern, 6-22-2008 DC, 6-24-2008 MSG, 6-25-2008 MSG0 -
