The St.Pete Times Forum, has a really cool Bar/Resturant called Shots.It's only open a few hours before and after each show.(don't freak out yet.I will get better hours.)It's perfect.No walking or driving to get to the show.I have a call into them today.Waiting on response.Everyone is going to be there anyways.I Will update as soon as I get the word from Shots.

They did play the farm a couple of years ago- that's it- my wife went solo and she told me that she loved them. We were going to go see Jason Isbell last year at the Beta Bar, but I think we passed because it was during the week.
All the more reason to get yourself acquainted with the greatness of said band.
So you still wanna do the X show? That's cool. I was just hoping that more people would come out. It's the last day of school for me- I'm a teacher, I can't remember is I've mentioned that before, so May 30th will be a celebration for me either way. I'll talk to my wife about it again, but I'm not sure if she will be able to come out. She loves the Beta Bar, but she can't take the smokey bars/clubs anymore- plus she's not much of a drinker anymore either.
My dad taught school in Mississippi for 32 years. I know how happy the last day of classes will be for you. Plenty of reasons to raise a glass and toast the summer.
And I'm not holding my breath on hearing any PJ, but if they did play some, that would be pretty sweet.

This Sunday night, I'm going to see Hurt w/ Course of Nature at Floyds- it should be a pretty good show. I can't wait!
I don't expect them to play any Pearl Jam songs. Wouldn't be very punk for a punk band to cover an arena rock band, you know? St. Michaels is not the old Cow Haus. The old CH is where the old, old Coca-Cola bottling facility was. St. Michael's is a street-front property on Gaines, next door to the comic books store. It has the tinted windows, a few pool tables inside, and a fairly decent beer-only selection of beverages.
Oh, and did I mention the random mural of topless ladies hanging on St. Michael the angel himself? Worth the cost of a beer just to see that.
