    There is no noncompete at ACL...everyone whos ever played acl has hit houston or dallas on the days around the event. If Coldplay, Oasis, Massive Attack can do it in years past PJ can, they just flake on the southwest.

    scrub jays were all over - beautiful - had to drive extremely slow to avoid them.

    Do we have swallow tail kites down here - or something like that? This weekend saw 4 birds, flying together - high up, quite large, black silhouette, white belly with very definitive split tails. Did not seem to have a long neck. IT was quick and we were traveling on the other side of the state... just don't recall seeing may split tail larger birds at all down here.

    Yes to Swallow-tailed Kites....cool, cool birds....after breeding season, they visit parts of Alabama for the buffet of bugs. :D
