  • It has been five long years since I have had the opportunity to see these guys rip it up....I can only hope they decide to play Dallas this time around. I have heard of a September 25th date...it sucks to base a vacation on a rumor...haha

Bump for those insanely devoted fans who become so emotionally involved only to be let down by there favorite................................... sports teams. Thought I was going somewhere else with that one didn't ya? ;) This weekend sucked ass! Final Four drubbing of my Heels and huge choke by my Canes that means no playoff hockey this year.

    Schedule more shows in 08

Fair Warning for those end up sitting near me in Columbia....I am one of the ones who voted "Turn them in" in the pot smoking @ shows thread...I do not abide it and will not suffer through your blatant disregard for the health of those around you. You have been warned. :)

I can't imagine that this would be an issue, there is no smoking in the venue. There is an outdoor (cigarette) smoking deck at the venue, though. I don't know what happens up in the top of the arena but there's no smoking allowed.

Today (April 7, 2008) marks the 75th anniversary of the federal repealing of prohibition. Since some of our Southern forefathers made a career for themselves and planted the seeds of a multi-billion dollar racing circuit out of the days of bootlegging moonshine, I think we have much to rejoice over in the South today. First, because prohibition is gone, and second, because it made us famous for something.

(**note: I do not watch NASCAR, but Ricky Bobby taught me to respect its roots.)

    Bottoms-up, Southerners! ;)

Hear, hear....raise a glass or a jug to those moonshiners and bootleggers....my maternal/paternal great-grandfather did both in the day....three cheers to Leander Pate Walker...one of the best moonshiners in north-central Alabama.
