    From the most recent "rumors" it sounds more like Lollapalooza is the only place they will be playing in the states. As easy as it is to feel slighted, I would be shocked if they played US dates this year and skipped us. Maybe they do a couple of one offs like Bridge School or the Live Earth thing. Other than those, though, they will probably just take some time off with their steadily growing families and maybe hit the studio.
    Obviously things can change in the blink of an eye. And we really don't even know what the status of those things is now to change from. That is the thing about the internet. Information is readily available and in such large quantities, but trying to figure it out is the key.
    Would love to hear from JR. I hope he realizes that nobody hates him. If he is guilty of anything its getting our hopes up. I still think everything he said was genuine so I would love to hear what he says about the latest info about the band possibly backing out of shows.
    I gotta head out. Its Hockey night in Carolina and a playoff spot is on the line.

    In my opinion, if they are playing lolla (seems to be a pretty safe bet) there will be at least a few other shows around that time. If they are going to take the time to rehearse and move all their equipment and the like over to Chicago it would make sense to add a few other shows to make it worthwhile. I know it isn't in the South, but a two night stand at Alpine Valley would be pretty sweet. I certainly think there is still hope for shows in the South this year.

    And as long as they play within 1000 miles...of the south...road trip...for eveyone...then we can all jam out together....sneak in some banners.

    I think he said he was on the road this week.

    I miss his fun...and appreciate that the stuck his neck out for us - something like that is always at risk (n the best of times). Hey, maybe he's putting up a good fight for us :)

    Dirty Frank(pearl jam cover band) said they can play for us sometime in June or July.But they would need airline tickets and a place to stay and eat while here.Which we would need to provide.

    I don't hate JTR, or even dislike him, but he has been quite the tease and right now all i want from him is the answer to his "so easy" trivia question that nobody on the whole flippin board can seem to answer.

    whether he knows something or doesnt know something, it doesnt mean shit until we hear it from the 10club, so whatever, just COME BACK with the answer to the trivia question, you've been stringing us along for a week now.

    and you can't tell me he doesnt have access to the internet just cuz he's "on the road" this week.
