It definitely feels like Spring fever today, wanting to clean out, change, something new.

Great day to have some news, make plans, start that intoxicating process of planning for and anticipating a Pearl Jam tour road trip. which shows to go to, checking out maps, making reservations (not to mention the excitement of going, seeing, experiencing and then the lovely afterglow)... nothing like it... even the holidays lack in comparison.

Oh, well. Bump, in hopes of...

Will try, I have a lot of running around to do, but will check in as I can. Ty's day sounds fun - reminds me of running around the woods of upstate NY when I was a kid. Spent all our time roaming the mountains.

However, I don't like the way some of this is sounding:

"Pearl Jam will serve as a headliner for the 2007 Lollapalooza Festival, which will return to Chicago's Grant Park for the third consecutive year on August 3-5. Pearl Jam is expected to announce a few other North American dates in conjunction with the event."

    From MusicBox.

Anybody getting the 8 show blues? Dangerboy, you hear any more? I had 16 on my list, but hope we don't just end up with a glancing blow here.

Somewhat coincides with what local DJ Carter told me yesterday: an announcement within 3 weeks (?) on a much shorter tour than originally planned.

Ran back to the house to change clothes and gather equipment....we will be going to a pond/lake that serviced the old iron ore mines......that means the soil and mud are a nice shade of red that generally stains anything...permanently. I used to trail run this general area 3-5 times a week....and you could always tell by the red stains on our shoes where we had been.

Finally the "new" car (birthday present) back last night. It's a really nice ride.:D
