Without a doubt, my #1 choice would be Arcade Fire.
I only recently discovered them. Man, I was missing out. What a phenomenal band. I've been watching some of their shows on youtube and I'm blown away. I'm hooked. I must see them in concert!
Radiohead
Broken Social Scene
TV on the Radio

Godspeed You! Black Emperor (although they're technically "on hiatus")
The Flaming Lips
I've had the pleasure of seeing a few great acts for the first time over the last couple of months - Explosions in the Sky, Bjork, Feist, Dan Deacon, PJ Harvey, Arcade Fire - but I still live in fear of bands breaking up or retiring before I get the chance to see them. Such is the downside of living in the Southern Hemisphere.

Mastodon's song from the beginning of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie= funniest thing ever!!!
As for me, I haven't seen REM. Since they are never announcing onsale dates for the US tour, I am convinced it is a farce.

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
