I didn't take those pictures. The newspaper photographer did.
I was about to say they were taken from different sides of the stage walk, still awesome though.

I'm going in January, but I have been wondering about the "paperless ticket" thing....I mean it seems to me that this will create one hell of a headache at the door with you having to present your credit card and all that crap. So how was it? Any problems?
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

the only problem I had was finding the one and only door to go to. Once I found the right door, everything went smooth. And lo and behold it was right next to the beer garden............
Rock N’ Roll Train
Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be
Back in Black
Big Jack
Dirt Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Thunderstruck
Black Ice
The Jack
Hell’s Bells
Shoot to Thrill
War Machine
Anything Goes
You Shook Me All Night Long
TNT
Whole Lotta Rosie
Let There Be Rock

Highway to Hell
For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)
The show was fucking top shelf, loud and hard!!!! I am so glad that I got to see them last night. Brian Johnson sounded terrific!!! And Angus was his badass guitar shredding self!!! The older Angus gets, the scary of a face he can make and he hasn't lost a step!! He is still classic Angus. The stage was killer with that train crashing through the back drop. And when they inflated Rosie, she was riding the train!! Fucking cool as hell!!! Not to mention the religious protesters outside the venue - that was even cool. Fun to make fun of them.
I was there! My ears are still ringing and muffled. It kicked major ass. It was really great to think they can still bring The Rock like they did. I was going to wear ear plugs, we were in the 20th row, but I was drinking and didn't care at the time. I'm regretting that decision even today.

Be sure to take your id, the same credit card that you bought the tickets with and every member of your party that is sitting with you that you bought tickets for. They scan your credit card right then and give tickets to your party members right then.
It was pretty cool.
As celebration mentioned, it looks like they beat scalpers.

I did the paperless ticket thing in Tacoma on Sunday. It was effortless and just sailed right in.
Saw AC/DC on Sunday and Metallica last night. My ears hurt....lol.

Check the day of the show and see if they release some tickets. Highly unlikely, I know. But a friend of mine got 5th row Metallica tickets by doing that.
I kept trying Ticketbastard every day during lunch. Then one day about 2 weeks ago, a single ticket appeared, which I promptly snatched. A very good seat too in the lower level, close to the stage right on an aisle.
All you folks who had hoped to get tix to one of the upcoming shows should keep trying. I got my ticket and didn't have to pay scalper's prices.

Right on! Congrats.
Can't believe you did AC/DC and Metallica back-to-back. I'd be just about dead. But I'm old.

I agree I would need therapy IF I did that.

Kind of a late update. I made it into the Houston show. My dad and I got killer seats from a scalper. We were lower balcony in the Toyota Center like row 116 I think for less than face value. Talk about some good luck happening there. As everyone has said the show os top notch and just absolutely amazing. It's tied with Roger waters for me this year on favorite concerts of 2008. Both of those shows were so damn good, I can't choose one over the other.
Setlist for AC/DC was same as above and I loved finally getting to hear the new songs. I don't have the album yet, but I'll be picking it up shortly. Is it true that "Black Ice" is only available on ACDC's website and walmart?
Been awhile! How ya been man?
Yeah, I am not a Walmart fan either but my mom called me today and said she picked it up for me at Walmart today. I'm listening to it now.
The album is great. The live show was amazing. It's tied with Roger Waters for me for my fave 2008 show.
saw them here in so cal. .. had cheech and chong tix same night but when ac/dc announced.. well rock took first.. so sold cheech and chong and glad I did thoes boys ROCKED!! and shouldve worn earplugs! everyone walked out rubbing their ears (LOL) after the 21 gun salute!! Awesome show as always.. great crowd!
A little bit of weirdness mixed with kindness makes for happiness... \m/!!
