First press of Pink Floyds The Wall, signed.I won it on a kids t.v show when I was 9.My brother was a huge fan and the question was name all the original members of the band.I knew the answer because heard my brother talk about them so much.
It has never been out the sleeve or played. Now framed on my wall.
Original first press of Black Sabbaths Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.Gorgeous gatefold sleeve.
“There should be a place where only the things you want to happen, happen”
I've got a 78 RPM set of opera lessons dating to about 1927 which were given to my father by his neighbor when he was a kid. I've also got a couple of 45s from the band that my uncle was in (probably from the '50s or early '60s). I've also got a Partridge Family Fan Club record (also from my dad's collection) and a bunch of other vinyl from the 70s.
Oh, and I've got a Benaroya vinyl, too.

I pretty much only buy vinyl to play it, and I'm not very up to date on what is rare or worth money. Stuff that was hard to get was:
-mellon collie vinyl
-Banaroya vinyl
-Downward Spiral and Fragile vinyls
-My girlfriend bought me the Led Zep BBC sessions box set for xmas which is pretty special, not particularly rare though.
-Loads of subpop 7", including Smashing Pumpkins, Change has come by screaming trees, various other bits and pieces.
Original (or at least very early reissue, I need to check) vinyl of Dust Bowl Ballads by Woody Guthrie. Still plays as well.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
Have heaps of vinyl including all the Led Zep and Neil Young from the 70's and 80's including Eldorado and Where the Buffalo Roam. Rarest probably the bootleg of NY live in Bakersfield, California in 1973.
Also have all the Beatles and lots of other stuff, in fact have more vinyl than CD's which probably says something about my age and stages in musical taste.
Now I'm livin' out here on the beach,
but those seagulls are still out of reach.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
I found a vinyl copy of U2's debut "Three" from 1979 in the plain black sleeve. It's not the original numbered version, but a second run, but still pretty rare. In my 20+ years as a U2 fan, it was the first time I ever saw it in a store and snatched it up immediately.

I have a copy of the Buckingham-Nicks album on vinyl...not sure how rare that bugger is...
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
Sonic Youth "Daydream Nation" special edition-4 LPs
Is that really all that rare? I've seen it in 3 or 4 independent record shops. Generally around £30 right?
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
I have a 1st pressing of the Rolling Stones "Their Satanic Majesties Request". You know, the one with that crazy 3-D cover. Not sure how much it's worth or even if it's considered "rare". I do know that later pressings did away with the 3-D cover.
I think the record with Ed and the Doors performance at the R&R HOF is my rarest vinyl. I also have Benaroya, a bootleg of the 92 Zurich show with great sound quality, Soldier Field, every album and 10 Club single, Into the Wild.
I also have a lot of other rare vinyl such as:
Phish - Lawn Boy
Tool - Aenima
A Perfect Circle - all 3 albums
NIN - Broken (w/7" single), Fixed, The Fragile, Ghosts I-IV limited edition (ordered)
Primus - Antipop
Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie... (no number)
My Morning Jacket - It Still Moves
Radiohead - In Rainbows discbox + every album released
Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West, Fruit That Ate Itself, Building Nothing out of Something
Box Sets:
Ben Harper - 3 (his first 3 albums)
Neil Young - Greendale
My Morning Jacket - Okonokos
I have a Dave Matthews vinyl, Before These Crowded Streets
of course Benaroya Hall
an original 1st pressing Nirvana Sliver 45
Original G N' R Appetite, not a rerelease!
Lots of Dylan pressed in England
mint debut from Dylan in Stereo(original)
Casino Royal original stereo
Beck's 10'' field EP
Excellent condition 1st pressing of american Meet the Beatles
Petty's into the great wide open and full moon fever
I also have an original American pressing and a later Japanese pressing of the "Immigrant Song" 45 rpm by Led Zeppelin. It, of course, had a very interesting B side.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
I have the Singles soundtrack on vinyl, an original German pressing promo copy of the first KISS album and a German import Jimi Hendrix, Electric Ladyland, with all the nude women on the cover.
My original collection was trashed by a girl with a pin, but from my recent newb collecting activities, I have Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn on white vinyl, and an original Led Zep 4, which is probably not rare, but has great mojo, with a shabby aged cover and inner slip, which matches the artwork perfectly.
Nicely reliced, if you will.
I did have a red vinyl Under a Blood Red Sky by U2, and a red Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was ultra-cool, but no more.

3. Two 7" singles from Ballhog or Tugboat. (one sent to me hand addressed by Watt himself! such a gentleman!)
