Into The Wild On Vinyl

Monkeywrench and Vinyl Films Records is proud to announce the release of the limited vinyl version of the soundtrack to the film Into The Wild. The release will be celebrated with an exclusive Ten Club pre-sale beginning January 14th at 10am Pacific.

Initially released digitally and in compact disc format, Into The Wild has been recorded on to high-grade audiophile vinyl. The vinyl release includes an extended version of the album track "The Wolf", plus a bonus 7-inch single with both studio and live versions of the track "No More", a 28-page full color booklet with lyrics and exclusive liner notes by Director Sean Penn.

This very special and very limited vinyl release will be available only at pearljam.com beginning January 14th, for $20 USD plus shipping, while supplies last.

Into The Wild vinyl will be released in stores on January 29th.

    But sorry, somebody inside 10c beat you to it by posting on myspace first - that's how I found out about it!

    I hope it won't be as difficult getting the vinyl Monday morning... as usual I always prepare for the worst so thanks for the plenty of time to prepare!

    Regardless of whether I'm able to get it or not, it's GREAT!!!

    Hallelujah!!! We finally get the vinyl.


    I think it's great that they are including a 45 with "No More." I'd hope for the live recording to be from their performance at Lollapalooza, but it will probably just be the same version that was on itunes.

    Regardless of whether I'm able to get it or not, it's GREAT!!!

    I'm logging in right on time.. but I dont see this being a Benaroya type of thing... (at least I hope) I'm assuming that if this was as limited as Benaroya they would give us an exact amount?

    Hopefully it is limited but not THAT limited where people will snag them all in 2 seconds after the onsale begins...

    I just know that this is going to be insane... just like the b. hall vinyl and I will not get a copy.

    But it awesome that it is being released.

    Benaroya was not available to the public as well.
    That should take some of the heat off of the 10C only part of the sale, thus making it more realistic to snag one.

    Why the assumption that this will like the Benny sale?

    I remember when they annouced Benaroya they clearly said 2000 copies only, when the Klausen shirt was announced they told us 600 shirts only.. why would they not give us the number of vinyls they have this time if it was something as limited as Benaroya Hall... of course that's only my opinion...

    pretty cool. Since this is for the public and not 10C members there must be a much larger amount then for benny, doncha think.

    Well the the vinyl that comes with the bonus 7 inch is only for the 10C but I dont think it's as limited as Benaroya Hall... (I could be wrong though)
