  • The real question is.....are they EVER going to actually release their new album? This thing is getting to be like Chinese Democracy. The 'News' section of their website hasn't been updated since December 12th. How about giving us an update or two?

Fucking awesome show, was right on the barrier at the left hand side, where Lars was.
Loved every minute, Matt's bass solo in Maxwell murder seemed to go for about 3 minutes or so and was absolutely mind blowing.
Journey to the End, Something in the World Today, opened with Radio, played I Wanna Riot which was awsome, Old Friend, was singing along the whole way through.:)
Waited to long to see this band as I've loved them for years now I cant wait to catch them again.:)

Oh yeah Rockking, Lars said that the new album was being produced by one of the guys outta Bad Religion and will be out VERY soon and that they will be back touring the UK in support of it next year.:D

Rancid is awesome - we saw them in Chicago the night before Lollapalooza. Can't wait for the new album so thanks for the news on that.

saw Rancid last fri in the Uk, they were awesome, absolutely.

Tim A what a voice, but on this occasion Lars was on fire. Mentioned the album would be out 'very very soon' and it was now finished. As always though a great night, perfect venue....and great set, although I do wish they would start playing Junkie Man again.

Slight grumble being the set was MUCH shorter than the 2006 tour. No acoustic bit either, but I think that was down to the venues time limits

Yeah Junkie Man and Hoover Street would have been cool but the set at newcastle was kick arse anyways.
