    or perhaps they just happen to be Daffy's favourite singers. that is the point of the post isn't it?

    I wish people would stop making snide remarks about other people's musical taste. If Daffy likes those singers and they happen to be predominently 90s based then it has little to do with the decade methinks.

    as for me...

    1 = Layne Staley
    1 = Eddie Vedder
    3) Chris Cornell
    4) Jeff Buckley
    5) Neil Young

  • a sarah slean fan! she's awesome. i had a chance to hang out with her for a bit a few years ago when she played the club i was working at. she's a lot of fun, and incredibly talented...some may say eccentric, but i thought she was very easy to get on with. good pick.

    Slean fans unite! heheh
    I only got in to her music in the last little while, but after seeing her perform live on a wintery Thursday night in December, with just her keys, a string quartet and her incredible voice- i have been hooked!
    Iwas so taken by her performance that I went and scored some tickets for the show that was happening the very next night. Afterwards, a friend (also a massive Sarah fan) and I met her... and as you said, she was super nice, very cool with her (seemingly trademark) glass of red wine!(maybe also an explanation for her "eccentric" character-gotta love a wino!)hehe

    Very cool to meet another fan!

    sweet cheers,

    Stephanie

    I went through a huge Stabbing Westward phase....I actually met Chris briefly after a show in 96, he was cool, (of course the pics didn't come out, why would they? lol)...I remember him telling me the story about the cover artwork for 'Wither, Blister, Burn, & Peel.' hehe.
