I really hope they keep Happy Alone in their setlist. I've never heard that one.
By the way, did they really do Genius the other night??

definitely. i checked their forum but i must be missing it
San Diego went like this:
Crawl, My Party, Black Thumbnail, Taper Jean Girl, King of The Rodeo, Fans, Revelry, Milk, Four Kicks, Razz, Molly’s Chamber, The Bucket, Sex On Fire, On Call, Closer, Cold Desert, McFearless, Use Somebody, Charmer, Knocked Up, Manhattan, Slow Night So Long
I was a little let down by the Denver show. They only played for about an hour and change, 19 songs. I know we get spoiled by PJ but KOL have four albums out and should be playing two hour sets by now. Just my two cents.

I saw KOL last night and the show was great! I know some people were complaining about the shows being short but I think they played about and hour and 45 minutes. I wouldn't expect much more from them. Cold Desert was probably the highlight for me. That's not my favorite song of their's but last night Caleb seemed to be feeling every word of the song. I'll post more later.
I don't do much except lurk around these parts but I was hoping I could get some help...
Kings of Leon are going to be playing here in Toronto Friday night (Nov. 7th)...people on craigslist are asking absurd prices for tickets ($250 each)...I simpily can't afford that.
What I am willing to pay is $150 for a pair...how do you know I'm willing to pay that much? Well it's because I already got ripped off by someone on craigslist :(
This is the first time I've ever been scammed online and let me tell you it sucks...I really feel stupid. The worst part about me getting ripped off is that I let my wife down and I feel terrible about that. She was really looking forward to going (I made her take the afternoon off work to go)...
Sooo, I'm hoping if ANYONE on here has friends/contacts in or around Toronto that are going to this show they could give them a quick shout and see if they know anyone selling at a reasonable price...There are just too many people out there now trying to make a quick buck off concert tickets and because of that people like myself can't go...Or get ripped off when we try to...
Thanks for reading and hopefully someone out there knows a guy who knows a guy that can help me out.
The guy said he had a pair of tickets...so I sent him the money (he's out of town) and he told me they would be arriving fedex within 24 hours...as soon as he got the money he stopped communication.
On craigslist it seems I wasn't the only one who got ripped off by this guy...lots of people are complaining...just too bad these wern't posted befroe I got scammed...
He went by the name Ryan Dunn (though I doubt it's real)...made a lot of money off innocent people...really stinks. :(
seeing them next weekend in Philly at the Electric Factory. Saw them one other time at the All Points West Festival, but it was outside & the sound was horrible. Got stuck with Ted Leo all 4 times this summer.
"I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me. Guaranteed."
That sucks about the Craigslist ripoff. I just had a nice exchange with a guy. I had tix for the 11/13 show in Boston, and needed to trade them for the 11/12 show. I had good Orchestra seats, and ended up trading them for front row balconey seats.
Anyone else going to the Orpheum next Wednesday? I'll be there with a bunch of friends.
I never trust the internet if I want tickets. Craigslist sounds as bad as Ebay. They're all rip off merchants.
I usually buy tickets of reputable companies, but more then ever they're sold out. What makes me angry that people buy tickets and then the next moment they put them on e-bay double the price.
It's a sad state of affairs and it should be stopped.
Anyone going to see KOL enjoy the shows.

Aha Shake Heartbreak = masterpiece
Because of the Times = fine album
Only By The Night = blegh...
I kind of hate their last album. So not amusing at all. I like Closer, Crawl and Use Somebody but the rest doesn't do a thing for me.
Aha Shake Heartbreak is another thing. It's an album from wich I love every song. Especially the opener (SN,SL) and The Bucket are awesome!
I'll Hold The Pain... Release...

how about Be Somebody and Cold Desert and Reverly? those and the three you mentioned are my favorites...
