The Who - have tried twice to see them in as many years and I have an unused ticket from 2006 (flight got grounded due to snow storm). Last month I just couldn't afford the trip or ticket.
Pearl Jam - again for the 6th time. I've missed out on being able to get to a show since I caught them twice on the Canadian tour in 2005.
Aerosmith - this should happen next time they tour through Eastern Canada (Montreal will work too)life is the study of dyin'
and how to do it right

red mos wrote:I'm sure I'm gonna get reemed for this but I feel TOOL is way overhyped live. Don't get me wrong, the MUSIC is top notch, but OVERALL I was so bored. I already knoew Maynard stands behind the stage. I understand the focus of the band is the music, but the setlist is like 8- 10 songs drawn out over 90 minutes. I just got extremely bored with the 20 minute versions of a 5 minute song on the album. Also they quit playing Aenema which is my favorite Tool song. I would have loved to have seen Danny Carey just tear it up on drums on that live. Danny was the only band member I had a clear view of. Everyone else was in total darkness. If you are a big Tool fan, you will probably have a better time, but I was just so bored.
Springsteen is amazing live! worth every penny.
I agree Dylan is mediocre at best, though I want to see him do a full show on his own. I saw him play the Houston Rodeo, and those sets are always shorter. Dylan didn't really get into the performance till the 9th song.
you got some valid points, even though tool played all the songs i wanted to hear at download festival in 06 it was good music but seeing them live really didn't mean much, i wished carey would have done better things on the drums.0 -

Don't get me wrong, I adore her music and just want to give her a hug, whether a retrospective one or not (she seems pretty happy these days)
And I don't know if she could handle a hug. Don't think i'd call her happy, just less troubled~AKA Dave-of-the-dead~

I've had an exceptional year crossing bands off my 'must-see' list, including Beck, Weezer, NIN, My Morning Jacket. And in years past, I've been able to make it to most shows that I've always dreamed of seeing.
Now, what's left is Lou Reed and Paul McCartney, and maybe the Strokes if they're sober enough to put on a good show in a not-too-big venue.0 -
There are a lot of bands I would like to see, but the only two artists I need to see before I die are Neil Young & Radiohead"If my thoughts, dreams, could be seen, they'd probably put my head, in a guillotine, but it's alright ma, it's life and life only."0
