Well, what bands do you need to see before you can die happy. Obviously it has to be realistic.

Candlebox
Black Sabbath (original lineup)
The Who
R.E.M
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Dinosaur Jr
Various stoner bands.

I think i would have seen some of these if their ticket prices wern't so steep!

It might have been worth it too, 20 years ago. Saw them at Reading last year and they were the worst band of the entire weekend.

I should point out that Panic! at the Disco were on that bill... :(

    Dinosaur Jr were amazing though.

Mostly wishlist type dreams, but ... what's life without dreams?

    Possible ....
    Bruce Springsteen

    Not likely ...
    David Bowie

Get back together and tour one more time, DAMMIT ....

Catherine Wheel (I've seen them a few times back in the early 90s, but they need to tour one more time, dammit)

The Jam (that means Paul Weller is singing, none of this "From the Jam" nonsense without Paul fronting the band!)

Orbit and The Neighborhoods (2 Boston bands that are doing about 1-2 gigs a year or so, that, I keep missing with my trips back to Boston)

The Smiths (I know, it's NEVER going to happen)

I was lucky enough to cross Mission of Burma off my list a month or so ago ... and they did NOT disappoint!!!

Go see Heaven and Hell, Ronnie James Dio is a better front man for Sabbath that Ozzy ever was ... and even moreso now.

    you stepped over the line

i refuse to see Heaven and Hell. I was Geezer, Bill, Tony and Ozzy. They fucking rock like no others. The 3 guys are just brilliant muscians.
  • I've seen almost every band that is still living/together that I like, but of the ones I haven't, these are the ones I most want to see:

    The Smiths
    Tracy Chapman
    Guns N' Roses

I can't honestly think of any others...

I keep waiting for Paul Tollet (the organizer of Coachella) to step up and make an offer Morrissey CANNOT refuse ... not sure what that number is (it probably does not exist), but, if it's going to happen ... it's probably going to happen at Coachella.

indeed, thus, my comment about the number not even existing.

Morrissey's still fantastic on his own though, we'll have to settle for that.

As classic and influential as the original lineup is, I agree with jimed14. They are a far better band with Dio fronting.

I can now add Metalica to my SEEN list! I missed Down and the sword though, cause I was having to wait for a good deal on a ticket through scalpers, then the box office released a few more right before Metallica hit the stage. Metallica was bad ass... I'll be getting the bootleg once it's up on their site. :)
