    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    To be honest (i'm not being ungrateful) but I don't think I could sit through a whole ACDC concert and not chew my own arms off :o

    I can't thank you enough though and if we do go out for a few drinkies before hand i'll be sure to buy you one :)

    i havnet listened to them properly, but black in back and hells bells are fucking cool songs ;p

    Also saying i saw ACDC in 2009 sounds strange.

    in 1989 AC/DC were much maligned, had been for years, ridiculed and stripped of cool by the oh so hipster music press. The fans were still there for them.
    Just now the oh so hip to kitsch music press, have decided in their infinite 'wisdom' that AC/DC are cool to like, seems every man and his dog and his son want a ticket, or have an opinion...they've had their day o' course Sian...they'd had their day by 1985, their best music was recorded by 1981 but who cares? not me for sure. Not anyone who's going to see 'em next year :cool:
    They're as true to their roots, and their love of what they do, as any band that has ever existed... in the whole existence of cool rock an roll bands. They have a place in history...so

    Lay of 'em....and do your homework :p

    Maybe you should do your homework, Grandad... I was born in '84, the first recollection I have of AC/DC was in '89! :p

    We're not all old enough to remember 'the good old days' you know ;)

    Oh trust me Sian, I need do no homework on my beloved acca dacca :D it's all there ;)
    I saw them in 1990 in Birmingham (and 86 and 88 :D ), like I said 'the fans were still there'....just we all got huge amounts of shite from most sections of the music press. They were anything but the press darlings in the late 80's, that they seem to have become of late :) It was about the most un-cool thing, to be an ac/dc fan in the mid to late 80's.
