  • Good luck to get tickets.
Tickets for the two concerts in Paris were sold yesterday. It was a complete disaster ... and of course I don't have tickets so I won't see AC/DC once again.

touts sux, eBay should ban selling tickets, I’m just lucky that I have managed to get tickets on general sale rather than the touts

It's even worse than that. They didn't sell all the tickets at first but released some during the day. Originally it was only for the first date.
We needed 4 tickets. My buddy's girlfriend went to get tickets but she was told there is nothing left just 10 minutes after the sale started. Then we heard that some more were being sold so my friend went there but he could only get 2 (usually you can get 4 in this place). They also started to sell tickets for the second date but this has never been announced previously.
So I tried to get some on the web during 2 hours but without success. Then I heard that some people managed to get some after I tried. So I tried again ... without success.
For sure, I can find tickets on ebay but I first need to sell one kidney and I'll never give my money to touts ... even for an ACDC concert.

By the looks of it, tickets have been sold out everywhere now!

What I find most disappointing, is that there are still fan club tickets available - and with the small fee of $40, you could join the fan club and get your tickets straight away!

Granted, there's a couple of songs that get me shaking my fat ass on the dancefloor but I don't think they're much to shout about.

I do respect them and the fan base they have, they're just not for me :)

(erm... YOU?! 'Best behaviour'?! )

Cheers I will do - I'll have to keep a look out for a second date or more standing tickets being released for the MEN show.

Would someone shoot me a pm if they hear of another MEN show being added??

    Cheers

I do. I only 'appreciate' them when i'm drunk. I was being diplomatic :p

If Dave does buy me their back catalogue for Christmas, Dave will get ACDC served with a side order of smashy smashy CD breaky for dinner...

To be honest (i'm not being ungrateful) but I don't think I could sit through a whole ACDC concert and not chew my own arms off :o

I think it'd be a party and half, even for the people who only know the famous songs! :D

I agree though... ACDC in 2009 doesn't sound quite right...

    ACDC in 1989 maybe...

I think they've had their day, but that's just me :)
