CD's Worth Waiting For...

I'm looking through various sites, and I haven't seen that many I'm interested in. Sure Radiohead, but does that really count? I know Stephen Malkmus has one out in March. And R.E.M. will have a more guitar heavy album, kind of like Document, out. Am I missing any? Is there any you would recommend? Any suggestions are welcomed. Even Greatest Hits and Live Albums.
You are just a negative mindless pud.

Hopefully the new Metallica will be out by then and worth the wait.
I'm hoping for more of a Load/Reload type thing, but I know I'm not gonna get it.
    Music is not a competetion.
  • My musical taste might be far from yours but I'll suggest a couple in hopes you and/or someone else benefits.

The Mars Volta - The Bedlam in Goliath - January 29, 2008
    Nada Surf - Lucky - February 5, 2008

I am pretty sure there are a couple of others I can't think of right now.
    Austin City Limits - Oct 04, 2009
  • I'm looking forward to new Counting Crows in January. Apart from that, nothing on the horizon..

Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

As long its not anything like st. anger. i'll give them a pass on that since the band had some serious issues at the time.

Yeah, one of the bandmates posted that they're going to a recording studio to start on their 5th LP... and that was posted on the sigur-ros.co.uk website.

Kayo Dot - Blue Lambency Downward.

Everything this band makes is colossal.

Has anybody else noticed that the records you end up waiting the longest for usually end up being pretty bad?

Definitely, although given the number of times it has been postponed already, I'm not getting my hopes up...

Cat Power's new covers record, Jukebox, is out January - in fact I just pre-ordered mine on Matador records website! :)
If you all stop hitting refresh for just two minutes, I can buy my tickets...
