Hmmm, impressive. And I thought you were going to choose something obscure, like Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous or something.
I actually really like Live and Dangerous One of those few live albums that renders the studio stuff obsolete. Whether it's full of overdubs or not, it makes the albums sound so bland.
It's not an all-time favourite though
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

I could be contrary to popular opinion and suggest that I actually prefer the farewell double live album 'Life' to L&D It was my first Lizzy purchase, I still have it, I love it I love Thin Lizzy

Which line-up is that with? I'm fairly indifferent to anything after Brian Robertson left, just because I think the songwriting went a bit downhil and it all got a bit cock rock-sounding. I'm not really a fan of that Cold Sweat/Dedication sort of stuff they did with John Sykes. Nothing can beat the Live & Dangerous version of Still In Love With You
Hey, check it out, I'm talking about classic rock

Oh it was a double lp of the last gig, at Hammersmith. It was the final line up, but quite wonderfully, side 4 contained almost every previous member of the band, from Eric Bell to Gary Moore to Midge Ure
But you are right, the best is really L&D, tho there were some cool songs after that.
