The Village People....just look at them! It's like they just got off work! No time to change thier clothes!
  • im gonna go with the hip right now. the tragically hip. they are touring machines. and they immediately go right back to the studio, cut another kick ass album and tour all over again, in succession. they work harder than james brown.

Jose I gotta agree with the ABB...haven't they been on tour for 40 years now??? Seems like it.
I love to turn you on
  • The Rolling Stones

Um sorry for shouting, the Rolling Stones.

not only are they hard working, but they have like the greatest show too! they give it their all! (no age jokes either, people...I mean seriously how many of you 20-30 year olds can run the ENTIRE length of a baseball outfield WHILE singing and SHIMMYING...yeah didn't think so.)

They postponed a few shows due to Mick's father passing and even though he was fresh from the funeral...you couldn't tell. SHOWMANSHIP and Hardwork, and they give you the money's worth.

    fuck yeah...the Stones.

plus studio work, and side projects...who's with me on this one???

Seeing them at 4 straight shows back in '97 in Oaktown made me a believer. Granted, I haven't had the urge to see them since, their performance was awe inspiring! Mick is truly amazing, Keith is just Keith, Ron is great but stays aside sort of like Entwistle would allow the music to do the talking, and Charlie is the fucking man!!!

Stones are a phenomenal live act...saw them 2x in the last tour...and i agree with you both...they're great...but the constant touring crown doesn't go to them. if that's what Jose is talking about, then I can't cast a vote for them.

    okay this is becoming embarrassing.

    are you...my long lost brother??

(are you missing half a nutsack, because when they separated us i may have got some of your good parts.)

seriously dude, it is becoming quite uncanny...

(I would have gone with The Baycity Rollers over the Village People, but I mean, splitting hairs)

  • AEROSMITH

Do they even write their own songs anymore?

I'd say a band like The Ramones would have been near the top of the pack ... talk about always touring ... and getting NO album sales to thank them for it.

Maybe other punk bands that stuck to it for years with little financial incentive? X and Minor Threat\Fugazi come to mind as well.

    Shit i dunno.
This is a tough call, for sure.

I think it could be close call between Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones.Although the Foo Fighters seem to hard workers as well and tour loads.

    Black Rebel Motorcycle Club easily

Take a look at their tour schedule, they played 171 shows in 2007 alone......back and forth between the UK, US, and other countries. Each set is around 2 and a half hours in length. They also released an album and EP in the same year.

one thing i know for sure

its not " work " for Bruce and The ESB.

it comes quite naturally, smoothly, and intensely.

    theres a reason he's known as " The Boss " .
