any fans of Warrant? i don't like this band at all but i'm just curious to see if someone can be a fan of both Warrant and Pearl Jam.. Bon Jovi and PJ is one thing but this would be a whole new level (in a bad way).

  • I love Bon Jovi - and I'm not ashamed of it. But I am female, so maybe that's why. I went to a Bon Jovi concert in high school - it was quite exciting. I like the love songs - Always, Bed of Roses etc

Why should you be ashamed? Everyone is entitled to like whatever music they so wish to. :)

Surely Bon Jovi are an exception when it comes to this, 'Friends dont let friends listen to Bon Jovi' kind of thing?

Nah kidding on, each to their own, their just not my cup of tea.
People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

I respect the fact that you don't like them, but it just bugs me when people who can't stand bands feel the constant need to slag them off. I don't get why they spend that much time and energy on a band they don't even like

    Just my two cents :D:D

    Agreed.
Just get Right Side of Wrong (Bounce) off iTunes, and maybe Just Older (Crush)...
Do not miss out on These Days. Maybe the most mature album any 80's pop rock band ever made... That's not saying much, but it's a damn good album.

I personally like all the above albums but the best one is, as others have stated, These Days. :)

Bounce has a lot of songs about Sept 11 on there.

they got the name slippery when wet from the "number five orange". a strip club in vancouver that had a shower on stage (still does actually) they were in vancouver recording the classic album and found themselves staring at that sign on stage for hours and hours.

I'm really not kidding when I say I wasn't aware there would be Pearl Jam fans that are into Bon Jovi. I mean if you're flipping the stations and "Dead or Alive" is on maybe you'll listen, but come on! For me that's like going to someoene's house that calls themselves a beer connoiseur and they offer me a Bud Light!

Well I had just listed them in the 'bands that suck' thread, before I seen this thread bumped.

They suck balls, in the very worst possible way. Sorry, it' true whether you disagree or not.

  • I like Bon Jovi's older stuff, until These Days... then it got really ugly.
