Pearl Jam of course. But The Arcade Fire may be the best live band I have ever seen. The Mars Volta also are incredible.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

awesome show...jack white deserves all the praise he gets about his performances..extremely energetic from start to finish. and he took a shot at oasis which i found funny ;)

  • Haven't been at that many concerts but from what I've seen, Foo Fighters, Sonic Youth, and Danish band MEW has been the greatest experiences.

    Others:
    Bloc Party
    The Raveonettes
    Bright Eyes

  • Ill stay away from the already mentioned bands...and include LOCAL H!!!! Such a great band and even better live! Usually play in small settings, and lots of crowd interaction. Scott (singer) almost always enters the crowd at one point or another...not to mention they rock harder than anyone around! ;)

Cool band, if you havent already, check them out!! :D

  • It saddens me to not see Widespread Panic anywhere on this list. Their crowd has really gone down hill in the last 8-10 years, but the music certainly has not. Additionally, moe is pretty incredible live, and for those of you in the Seattle area, Mountain Con puts on a hell of a show for some good old Montana boys!

    Go Griz!
