I'm probably going to the Virgin Festival - but aside from that, not too much coming around here that I'm able to make.

How about you?

I just saw Buffalo Tom at the Great American Music Hall, christ I love them. Probably the last gig for a bit, as I've put the kibosh on Lolla.

Download Festival in Mountain View Oct 6 (hey, that's summer here in the bay area) .... The Cure, Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Metirc ... geeked up for that.

    other shows

8/15 Film School @ Bottom of the Hill
9/4 Kings of Leon @ the Warfield
10/26 Ted Leo @ the Great American

... oh, and Bridge School Benefit ... if they ever announce a lineup and my lady isn't singing elsewhere that day.

I thought he was REALLY good. The audio set up he had was spectacular. One of the cleanest sounding shows I've ever been too. And he's a great guitar player to boot. I didn't really like his latest CD, but comes through much better live.

I saw Cornell the other day in Reading, and I'm seeing VR with AiC before I head off for college in August.

I was thinking about seeing Mayer in Hershey but I opted out because I need to save money... I have no idea how people go to 10+ concerts a year.

They had this performance on CD101 (directv music channel) live from Webster Hall. The best performance recording you could imagine. That simple.

I think I'd like to catch him live. Apparently he does stand-up comedy too. He was on Opie & Anthony (XM Radio) talking about his upcoming tour and such. Sounds like a really cool guy.

As much of a legend as he is, I'd be reluctant to see Dylan in concert. I'm not very familiar with his material beyond "the hits," and he seems to be.... uh.... past his prime. The only reason I'd go is to tell my kids someday that, "yeah, I saw Dylan back in the day."
