Dondante - My Morning Jacket. Put it on repeat. Hear it evolve as it revolves. Nice and chill. A beautiful pain, yet a treat for your ears and soul. Trust in that.

Damn bro. How could you! Haha. I like to chill out to I'll Take Care of You. So relaxing, you just space out. And Bubblegum is one of my fav. albums right now, has been for a while. Also very chilled out album, almost creepy in a way. And Desert Sessions 9 & 10, whoah.
yeah totally My faves would be Mockingbird and Ugly Sunday of The Winding Sheet, but I'll Take Care of You is nice also, i aint got Bubblegum yet, also must mention Screeming Trees since i'm writing about Lanegan again, Uncle Anesthesia is very nice to listen to stoned and the art work is incredible on the front cover.
Masters of Reality are pretty good too.
Im cutting a sequence from my and my friends vaccation. I cut something that has a soft, slow & stoned/high kind of feel and need some music. Can't really find something good in my collection. Anyone has any idea of what might fit? Something by Grateful Dead or Zappa maybe? Bob Marley?

You know, I can't get myself into the Screaming Trees, I have no idea why. Maybe suggest me some stuff to get me going. Is it Sweet Oblivion that everyone talks about?
And whoever suggested Miles Davis, fuckin a. That song kills. (Miles Runs The Voodoo Down)

Uncle Anesthesia and Buzz Factory would be my favourite albums by the Trees, Uncle Anesthesia usually gets slammed for bad production, it was produced by Chris Cornell and Terry Date, but i like it, it has a really tripped out feel to it, and Buzz Factory well thats got Black Sun Morning on it which is one of my favourite songs by anyone.
Sweet Oblivion and Dust are the two most well known albums, and the most praised, probably the easiest to get in to.
Devendra Barnhart is pretty cool after a smoke aswel,a bit marc bolan esque-which leads me straight to acoustic warrior by marc bolan-splendid....
When I was born, the doctor came out to the waiting room and said to my father, I'm very sorry. We did everything we could. But he pulled through......

Dude...if you want some nice mellow stoner tunes...look no further than The Black Crowes!!! Hell they've got too many great "stoner" songs to mention, but if I had to single out a few tasty nuggets to use along with your video they would be:
easy - the dandy warhols
in the waiting line - zero 7
first breath after coma - explosions in the sky
thievery corporation - lebanese blonde
i love you golden blue - sonic youth
wake up - the arcade fire
any song from the mars volta

try getting a cd called "Grayfolded". i HIGHly recommend it
here's a snippit from an amazon.com review
"How many times have you heard a COMPLETELY unique, one-of-a-kind album? Well, this is it. Oswald uses the studio as an instument, creating what he hears in the Grateful Dead's 30+ years of performing their signature tune "Dark Star". The way he melts together different jam sessions, some recorded 20 years apart, is just amazing. The remastering is superb, and the sense of cohesiveness is unbelievable."
Brian Jonestown Massacre anyone? My friend recommended "Thank God For Mental Illness" so I picked it up, and I love it. It's very chilled out and has that western-trip relaxed feel to it. I guess that describes it.
