Eddie Vedder will play in NYC???

OK before I get everyone going crazy I don't know if it's that reliable.

My aunt works for ESPN, she writes for the NHL. Anyway I talking her this morning about how I'm going to bonaroo and she mentioned the Eddie west coast dates. And I said, "yeah it sucks he's not coming here". So she said, well...I had lunch with a co-worker who in the middle of the conversation said "your nephew loves pearl jam right?" and she said yes and her co-worker said, well one of my best friends works for KROCK and he said that he's heard of 2 eddie shows at the BEACON THEATRE!!! Apparently this guy is trying to confirm it before he tells the DJs to say it on air and he's having a hard time...but none the less....

    I have a hard time believing he won't do at least one East Coast solo show, so I don't doubt this.

    Chris Cornell show last year was amazing.
    I hope this is true, but I am happy so far with Bonnaroo. I didn't see PJ last year and I gotta say...that hurt.

    I love the Beacon! By far the best venue in the city. I work two blocks away so this would be great!

    Yeah I went to the first Cornell show at the Beacon, INSANE...i saw him at irving too which was better but still great...I saw Robert Plant at the beacon as well, blew the ancient art work off the roof :D

    I'm not going to the west coast for once :(

    The Bonnaroo tickets put me in a little hole, plus the only shows I would be able to make are the 2 LA shows (because of class), and a hotel in LA would put me in a bigger hole,

    The beacon is awesome... (as long as your on the floor) He really really should play a show at the starland ballroom in sayerville Nj. Cornell was AMAZING there... i think ed would really enjoy it...

    If this is true then I suspect there may be more over here as I can't see him flying himself and his crew here for one show only. If it is true I'll consider going as I may have a free place to crash.
