No way. The Glyn Johns LP was a fucking disaster. He didn't even pick good versions of the songs. Phil Spector at least picked good versions. It's too bad that he embellished some of the songs though. The songs he didn't embellish, however, sound great. Let It Be Naked rectifies this somewhat...Glyn Johns style mixes of the versions Spector chose...but it's unfortunate that the air and breath has been sucked out of the sound with heavy noise reduction. If it wasn't so strange sounding, it would be my preferred version of the album.

Well, one song immediately came to mind when I saw this: Act Naturally, a Ringo song, and bloody bad one at that. Although, I feel guilty now, and must affirm that I do love the Beatles, but no, they were definetely not infallible. Although I appreciate their early music for what it is, and where it came from, you won't find me listening to anything they recorded prior to Rubber Soul.
