isnt playing SNL hitting the mainstream? i kind of know what you guys mean how nobody knows them really, but they have done some pretty big TV stuff, Austin City Limits, SNL and the like. i think they have had their chance to go big and will be safe staying in the not too big category so we are all good.Van '98, Sea I+II '00, Sea '01, Sea II '02, Van '03, Gorge, Van, Cal, Edm '05, Bos I+II, Phi I+II, DC, SF II+III, Port, Gorge I+II '06, DC, NY I+II '08, Sea I+II, Van, Ridge , LA III+IV' 09, Indy '10, Cal, Van '11, Lond, Van, Sea '13, Memphis '14, RRHOF '17, Sea I+II '18, Van I+II, Vegas I+II, Sea I+II '240 -
Finally Finally going to see them live in CHicago Thursday. Missed out on 4 different shows where they opened for PJ (I wasn't in to them then) and had to cancel my plans to see them at Red Rocks this summer last minute.
I can't remember the last time I've been this pumped to see a band live.Bob Loblaw's Law Blog: "Why should YOU go to jail for a crime someone else noticed?"0 -
Anyone check out the Milwaukee show on Friday? Absolutely mindblowing.
I'll be at the Chicago show this Thursday too, stevie. Can't wait! I will see these guys any chance I get."What happens when so many people agree on something? Can we take this beyond the parking lot when we leave tonight?" -EV, Iconoclasts0 -
the BEST kept secret in rock n' roll.Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.0 -
MMJ will be on Austin City Limits Nov 1!!! Saw them proper in Louisville this summer. That show is easily in my top 3 ever.

Did you have floor tickets? Where were you at? I was right in front of Jim making a fool of myself.Happiness is only real when shared0 -
does anyone have a big, nice MMJ picture as a desktop background? I'm pretty picky ab my background and can't find one I really like6/11/08 WPB

Saw them again in Detroit the other night. Incredible show, great atmosphere. The band is just so talented. Long Extended jams, but so under control at the same time. These guys are pros and Jim writes fantastic songs.
I just found out that they are opening for Neil in Australia for a few shows this year! I love seeing my favourite Pearl Jam artists get together on their own.
Getting to see MMJ kinda makes the PJ withdrawal a bit more bearable!0 -

Someone, i want to think 'restless soul' took this picture, and I've been using it as my background.
