3. White Stripes - Elephant (Meg White is Hot)
4. Beck - Sea Change (Why don't more people talk about this album?)
5. Green Day - American Idiot (I don't care if i get flamed, I fucking love it - bite me)
6. The Strokes - Is this It (I want them to keep pushing themselves)
7. Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R ('nuff said)
8. Tool - Lateralus (not my cup of tea, but this bands influence speaks for itself)
9. System of a Down - Toxicity (actually, all of their albums are consistenly sweet, but I went with the popular choice)
10. Wolfmother - Wolfmother (I guess I get why some people don't like them, but I can't get enough of it. Really regret not seeing them live - heard they were fucking monsters)
Also, on a side note, I really enjoyed the first Velvet Revolver album when it first came out, but I wouldn't put it in the same class as the rest of these...
2. Beck - Sea Change
3. Arcade Fire - Funeral
4. Radiohead - Kid A

10. Mountain Goats - Tallahassee
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
Haha yeah as an album, Is This It is one of the best albums released in along time. Are the strokes better than Pearl Jam....Hell no, Pearl Jam is my absolute favorite band, but if i posted every pearl jam album as my top ten then i would get ripped for not liking other music. This is a question asking what you thik the ten best are not your favorites. Cause i like Velvet Revolver more than i like TV on the Radio, but i think that TV made a really great album. If it was my favorite albums of the 2000's then i would include alot of different material. So I'm sorry i did not meet your expectations with "MY" picks.

Lots of others could have been here. Even with Pearl Jam included, I wouldn't have Binaural anywhere near the top ten. They will always be my favorite band, but Binaural, in my opinion, is the worst thing they've ever done. I also would not have Tool's Lateralus anywhere near the top ten. When we did this thread as a poll one time before (which I ran), it got an outrageous number of votes. I like Tool, but Lateralus is not a great album.
that's about it
