  • Dunno if this qualifies as a male/female duet but it's damn close

It doesn't get much more cheesy than this

  • anything with Bob Dylan and Joan Baez.

"Mama, you've been on my mind" is beautiful.

go pick up a copy of Dylan's Halloween show in 1964.

was what in an odenkirk movie? i mean, i didnt intentionally make an odenkirk reference but while we're on the topic... will arnett does a great job, but why the hell wasn't bob cast as gob bluth?

and another duet i just though of,
mick jagger/merry clayton (i looked it up) - gimme shelter

wendy rae fowler is in bob's movie, "melvin goes to dinner." she's had a couple bit parts in various films and tv shows too, or at least that's what http://www.imdb.com says... in any case, i think she's more of an actress than a singer, but her work on lanegan's albums have always been great.

and i love will arnett as gob. i'm not sure anyone else could do it justice (originally they wanted david cross for gob... not sure how that would have worked). but i wish bob had been given a recurring part, instead of playing that marriage counsellor in just one episode.

Sonny and Cher - I Got You Babe

Gotta love a bit of Cher.
I don't have to sell my soul, he's already in me

  • For me, it's definitely ...

This Mess We're In ~ PJ Harvey and Thom Yorke

    and

Crawl Home ~ PJ Harvey and Josh Homme

Nothing cheesy about either of them!

mark lanegan and isobell campbell - all of ballad of the broken seas, plus "why does my head hurt so?" off of one of her other albums

mark lanegan and pj harvey - "hit the city" and "come to me" off of bubblegum

i was thinking about this too.. definately the lanegan/harvey and i have yet to get the isobell campbell stuff, but what i've heard of it is great
