I dug the screens in front of the stage at the 2012 tour.

But it didn’t beat their spring 2007 setup with just the overhanging lights

    Seeing them tonight

Great show! Visuals/stage setup were pretty awesome. Bought a side stage ticket on stubhub for like $60 so decent seats. Looks like they mixed up the set list a little so that was good also. Josh Freese is definitely a better fit for NIN than the Foo's, IMO.

    Nice pictures.

But I didn't care for the Main Stage setup at all. What was up with that Fish Netting that wrapped around the stage? Were they afraid people would throw shit at them=LOL. I didn't feel like they connected with the crowd because of that.  Maybe that was just me?

    Still glad I went.
The netting was a sheer screen to project images onto. They had multiple layers of the sheers throughout the stage. The visuals were pretty cool, particularly during “Copy Of A”. Sounds like you weren’t in a spot where they were visible.
Yeah, I get what the netting was for. I was up high and about even with the Front of the stage so I really couldn't see the full front view. Most visuals didn't do much for me at any show (even for PJ).

Boston thoughts on my 4th NIN show...
    • Dave Grohl fired a heckuva drummer in Josh Freese
    • The two-stage setup and production was up there w/ the best I've seen - the projections on the translucent screen were awesome with my side stage seats
    • Trent is a national treasure
    • New Tron song & Closer remix ripped

After seeing all the great reviews for the NIN shows this tour, I’ve decided I can’t miss out. I’m making a last-minute decision to go to the Brooklyn show on 9/2. If anyone has an extra pit ticket, please let me know. Thanks!

Yessss do it. My ticket was closer (no pun intended) to the date of the show. It really is an amazing show, if you're remotely a NIN fan.

Seen them twice before, but it’s been a while. Really enjoyed both times though. Keeping my fingers crossed I can score pit or a good seat. 🤞
